La Estación

El proyecto de formar una orquesta salsera surge en el año 2004 como iniciativa de varios amigos músicos que deciden empezar a montar temas del repertorio que más escuchaban, bailaban y gozaban en las rumbas y bares de la ciudad de Bogotá. Al comienzo se llamaba ORQUESTA ABAKÚA, palabra de origen africano que significa confraternidad alrededor de un ritual.

Ahora LA ESTACION ORQUESTA, continúa con el mismo deseo de reunir en un mismo punto de encuentro la pasión de sus integrantes por la música latina. A través de la exploración de las diferentes vertientes de la salsa y el son tradicional, La Estación busca elementos que construyan otras formas de hacer Salsa desde la Bogotá caliente.
